How to use MediaPortal with WinLIRC? (1 Viewer)

Hi,
how can I use WinLIRC with MediaPortal? I know there is a preinstalled plugin but there is no configuration dialogue where the programm can learn commands? Where can i find a working plugin?

Finally some who wants to know this too. Seems we're alone with our problem. I would program a plugin but I have no time to do this.

    I am quite sure that IR-Server Suite is a much more user friendly (and supported) option? Have you tried it? What part did not work for you?

    yep,

    but I've only tested it with the IRMan, so let me know if you have any trouble and I'll fix it for your device.

For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos.
