Internet Radio information (1 Viewer)

The internet radio stream I use, http://stream-hautdebit.frequence3.net:8000,
has a URL that displays the current album image.:http://www.frequence3.fr/d-ecoute-popup.infos.html.

Is there any way to display this in MP?

Yes.

Give the imagefile same name as the streamfile.

Eg.:

radio1.pls
radio1.jpg

That would work for a static image for the internet radio stream, but I think that Rob755 wants to display a dynamic image - the current album image - which will change for each song played.

As far as I am aware, it is not possible to do what Rob755 is asking ... but I am happy to be proved wrong ...

I had a quick look at this and you could do something really easy to implements the feature yourself.

You can get here : http://www.frequence3.fr/data/F3titrage.txt

The current title + disc cover. You only have to create a little piece of code that periodically grab the cover name, download the file and write it in your mp folder.

Thanks for your help on this. The link is interesting. I hadn't seen that. I assume you mean copy the image to the thumbs folder that holds the image icon for the radio station. If so, how does the image get updated in MP?

Otherwise how do I get the image into MP?

About the update in MP I don't how it's managed at the moment. I fear that it's cached and the file update won't be seen my MP but you can try anyway.
