    Hi nanolimit

    Instructions as follows:

    1. Create a playlist with the channel URL details (example attached). Basically start with:

    Then for each channel:

    #EXTINF:0,<channel name here>
    <full URL including HTTP/RTP/UDP here>

    2. Name it Australia.BigPond.m3u.
    3. Put the file in you tuning details folder:

    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbip
    Vista/7: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbip

They are hidden folders, so either enable viewing of system and hidden files/folders (XP instructions, 7 instructions) or paste the path into the Windows explorer address bar to get to the right folder.

    4. Start TV Server configuration.
    5. Go to the DVB-IP tuner under TV Servers->[Server name]->DVB-IP MediaPortal IPTV Source Filter.
    6. Select "Australia.BigPond" in the service list.
    7. Scan for channels.

All being well, channels should be added. You can then group them, rename them... whatever you like. :D

    Hi again

Please post some logs showing scanning not working (link with good instructions is in my signature) as well as the m3u playlist that you made.

[Edit: just checked the link myself and it works in VLC and WMP. I think it is a "bog standard" WMV9 stream. The DVB-IP tuner(s) are for proper DVB-IP services. Try the OnlineVideos plugin...]

    Yup, worked in OnlineVideos.

So no way to add it to the tv guide then?

Unfortunately I would have to say no. WMV is not exactly a standard broadcast encoding, and there is very unlikely to be any DVB wrapping (which is what the TV-oriented parts of TV Server and MediaPortal expect). Sorry...
