I have checked the log and I am not getting the error above. Instead I am getting this error;
"00000004 - 24/01/2010 17:48:21 - Warning: Could not add Volume Label/Removable Property to episode - are you using these as a capture group?"
I have searched and I cannot find what this relates to?

That means you have enabled the checkbox "Removable" on an import path that is not really removable.

Lot of people think that a LAN share should be marked as removable, because they assume that since the share is not accessible when the LAN share computer is off, it is removed. However that checkbox option refers more to a dynamic content drive.

A DVD drive for example is the same drive letter (import path), but it can have different media inserted which would then cause problems to keep track on. This is why MP-TVSeries has support to detect unique IDs. The volume label or Media ID (DVDs have a unique code) is used to differentiate between all the different media that you can insert.

:D for your help - much appreciated. I think when i did un-check removable yesterday the TVDB wasn't working.

    The TVDB is back online again.

    They are upgrading their servers/equipment i think, which is why it's down.

    Currently you can't upload any new graphics to the servers, beucase of a server error.

    In that bottom section you can then look for the line Can't connect to http://thetvdb.com/api/<apikey>/mirrors.xml : Unable to connect to the remote server

    I am currently getting that error... any word?

    Simply manually go to:

    To verify they are down, possibly use a service like downforeveryoneorjustme.com to verify if it is just you. But that site doesn't work for me today, so I guess other companies are experiencing server issues as well :D

    As of right now, thetvdb.com site works for me, so should be good to go again.

    Speaking of which:

    Is run on a different server, so even if the main website is down, you can most likely still access the forum. That will allow you to look for announcements that they are working on server/etc.

    Just to wrap this up I did eventually get MP2 installed, the above mentioned error was resolved once I uninstalled MP1. I then had firewall issues with MP2, the client could not see the server unless I turned the firewall off on the server, all rules seemed present and correct, so I eventually uninstalled MP2 as I needed a working...
