Valid parameters are below. The first takes you directly to a movie based on it's movie ID in the Moving Pictures database, this is probably what you are looking for. The second and third launch to a specific category based on it's ID or category name. These are best used in conjunction with some of the public methods exposed by the Moving Pictures plugin itself. Jump on IRC if you need more detailed information.

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback.
Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)
