    his last post on a german mp forum hasn´t been long ago. It was on 2006, Feb, 20th.
    I PM´ed him there a week ago but have no response until now, too.

    I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

    There seem to be several errors shown in the log: (1) There are many lines that say Invalid year for OnAirDate. This suggests that either the web site is sending invalid data, or that the format of the data has changed and the TvMovieEPG Importer is misinterpreting it.
