Moving Pictures 0.6.1 doesn't start! (1 Viewer)

Hello Community, hello John!

I have installed the new Version 0.6.1, but it doesn't work! If i want to configure the Plugin, this screen appears:

I think your database is too old to be upgraded to this version of the plugin. Which one were you currently using? Try moving (not deleting) your movingpictures.db3 from your "database" folder and restart Configuration.

For XP users it's in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database

That seems to be a recurring problem for people upgrading to 0.6 though. Which bugs the crap out of me. If anyone else has this problem, could you post your movingpictures.log and error.log files? I would really like to track down what is causing this issue because it basically means some people have to totally rebuild their database... which kind of sucks.

I am getting the same problem. Have not yet tried moving th db but her are the logs.

I get the same message if I delete my database... I use Mediaportal 1.0 RC3 and moving pictures r328. Any ideas of what to do to make the plugin work again?
And btw, thanks for the best mediaportal plugin so far

You are using the test DLLs I linked to in the repository aren't you? Let's see... right next to the link...

If you are not a developer, download at your own risk!!!

The patched core.dll in that ZIP file was based on the latest SVN. Meaning you have an RC3 system with an RC4+ core.dll. Or maybe you didn't install the core.dll? Which would again explain things not working. That was an experimental version intended for testing purposes only. It has bugs in it and is not ready for general use. So revert back to your old core.dll and to Moving Pictures 0.6.1. Because, and I am very sorry, but we don't support unofficial versions.
