MP Tv Series processes file doesnt move it (1 Viewer)

I have MP TV Series and it works fine except it doesnt move any shows to the corresponding TV Show/Season Folder. Is there a way to make it do this? (I would think this would be the default behaviour)

The plugin won't move your shows for you as far as I know.

What program places the files in the MP-TVSeries import folder to begin with?

You should look into that program to see if it supports automatic folder creation. Just make sure only a copy or move action on the files are done to place them into the import folder, so don't use the import folder as temporary download folder as well, otherwise you might have to deal with nasty file-lock problems.

Hi,

I have made a small tool that does exactly that. It will take your downloaded tvseries/movies and move them into a better file structure, then it looks nice on the hd aswell in the tv series plugin.

You may think that but your thinking MP TVseries is a tv show organizer, and its not.

My shows are downloaded by one computer and then moved by me to my server to the proper folder, I don't want some program moving things anyways, since some shows are named weird and I need to change them.

Nah, I like it, I used Media Center Master and it would rename, move, download poster art, banners, all using metadata from the file or if no metadata it would use the file name and had excellent logic for putting stuff where it needed to be. To be honest it would make sense (and therefore never happen) to get with the MCM guys and have them work to combine these two products into a complete solution.

I personally don't want it to move my files around, or worse rename them. If you wish to do so, IMO it makes more sense to use a different plugin/script whatever that does so before handing it off to MP-TVSeries. The purpose of the plugin is to display things nicely no matter the folder structure.
Only 11 people have starred the issue for this, so it seems not many people share your preferences.

LOL now it is 12... I dont see the downside allow the ability and have one of those fancy tootin checkboxes to enable/disable...
