Great app! I've got one question though. I use direct streaming profile (no transcoding) because my TV server can't handle the CPU load of transcoding. Everything works great except for live TV and recordings that are always shown in 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 widescreen. However if I move a recording to my movies folder it plays with correct aspect ratio. I use MPextended latest beta and the app downloaded from google play.

I have tried to switch to MX Player instead of VLC and then it shows correctly but playback stutters and I can't move backwards or forwards in the stream. I have tried changing settings in both VLC and MX Player with no luck and tested on both phone and tablet (android 6 and android 5). Any ideas?

Hi,

Direct streaming profile is not supported in the internal player.
MX Player has not OSD and backwards or forwards function (of course). It just plays the stream.

Try to create a weak streaming profile (SD) with different transcoding (ffmpeg or vlc).
