Sorry for nagging but what about teletext subtitles?
Some of our channels send the subtitles via teletext and some using DVB subtitles

Teletext subtitles is not related to the new TV engine yet, it's a kind of a bug that the background doesn't get transparent. But we didn't have time yet to look into it any further...

Currently it looks like this won't come in near future. Of course unless someone else will start to work on it. The core team is not working on MHEG or MHP integration for MP at the moment.
I already see the next question coming up.... We're not working on CC (closed captions, used in USA) support either at the moment.
Why is not in Mantis if it's considered as a bug? Just a though, but that could perhaps lead to some dev picking up the issue and making everyon
