After nearly 5 months of development, but with much pauses, coffee and beer between, i can present you the new and better InfoService A big thanks goes to SilentExcept which helped me a lot.

Could you clarify whether infoservice 1.5 still works with the older mediaportal 1.0.2 or only the newer 1.1+ version? Also, the Black Glass Nova author has uploaded a FIX to his skin to support 1.5 Beta 9 to his fix thread. Will this also work for the final V1.5 or were there additional changes?

It should work with MP1.0.2 too.

For the Black Glass skin you need to edit some skin files, don't know which one actually, but you need to change every #infoservice.feed.lastupdated to #infoservice.feed.lastupdated.message, every #infoservice.weather.lastupdated to #infoservice.weather.lastupdated.message and every #infoservice.twitter.lastupdated to #infoservice.twitter.lastupdated.message.

- Clean MP RC1 installation followed by InfoService v1.5 installation
- Run MP Config, (adjust remote, etc.) add one weather city then go to plugins, select InfoService and click config --> crash (something about mediaportal.xml)
- Redo the above steps without InfoService config, close MP config and then open MP config again and InfoService config --> all is fine...

Sorry for lack of log, a friend of mine explained to me on the phone. But I think it would be easily reproduced...

Probably weather info is saved on MP Config save. I guess InfoService needs that to run.

InfoService reads weather info from MediaPortal.xml.. In the moment error has happened there is no MediaPortal.xml yet..

Then this condition should be handled in order to not crash the entire MP config and lose all other unsaved config changes, right? Which was the reason I reported this.

Here's a danish translation for latest release.

And btw. you're pretty unconsistent in written "twitter"/"Twitter" in language file. It's a name so should be spelled with capital T.

And i got a huge error log dump here. Please note that this is with Maya-beta svn of today, so probably not up to date - and maybe not even working which could explain this.
