It appears to have access allowed for everyone...

Won't let me change any of the settings, all greyed out... But has not got any denied settings applied...

Windows XP Pro using the mpei also has an incorrect path when you click the configure button:
cannot find X:\program files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\InfoService.dll
should be X:\program files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\WINDOWS\InfoService.dll

I think I have an issue with this plugin. After I installed this plugin, and started using the Black Glass skin my HTPC stopped going into standby when on the home screen like it was before. I disabled this plugin, and then it would standby like normal.
I have only setup weather, and the refresh time is set to 60 minutes, and the windows standby time is set to 10 minutes.

Any suggestions

Thanks! There is already strings_fr.xml in the plugin. Is this better than that one?

Dunno who can improve it tho.. I don't speak French and pretty sure edsche doesn't either.. So if (when ) you make it perfect, just repost

ouupps, your language file is best translated cons when installing the plugin, the file in French language does not install. that is why I started doing the translation.

My mediaportal crashes when I have no internet, but disabling infoservice makes it run fine. Does not being connected in some way while infoservice is trying to update the feed cause a crash for anyone else?

I got a question regarding weather.
There is a property:

#infoservice.weather.today.img.small.filenamewithoutext

So I can see that it's possible values are 1....47.
What is the meaning of thiese values?

I am asking 'cause I am going to replace standard weather backdrops
