same here... I do have an ASUS Mainboard (M3N78-EM).. Tried a lot... Result: Won't work with this Mainboard. Everytime I plug in the device when windows is running, it works... Pluggin it in before boot of Windows, it's an unknown device.
Solution: Press the "Power"-Key on the remote, beofre the Windows boot screen loads. Then it will initialize it the right way
Seems like a problem with the USB power supply for my ASUS Mainboard, so I switched to Gigabyte... Unfortunately the ASUS can start from S4 via USB, but Gigabyte is not able to...
