I know that if I transfer my episodes to a different drive, then they need to be scanned again. But do I need to do this if they are transferred to a replacement drive? ie the drive letter remains the same..?

I ended up simply setting all of my non-OS drives to "Offline" in disk management, then did a repair of MPExtended. That put the MPExtended service files folder on the root of my C drive.
