That sounds like something your topup TV provider maybe doing, more info would be useful.
DVDFreak is trying to get his plugin working with series links etc, might be worthwhile having a look at.

i'll search the internet for info about it, it comes over FTA, i dont subscribe to top up tv but the boxes get the data so its being broadcast to all. So far theres a couple of neat things about the top up tv box but the WAF prefers the mediaportal at the moment 
which means the topup tv box could be going back and i'll have more ££ to invest in my MP box

In the UK, the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T datastream allows each programme to have two genres -- a primary genre, and a secondary genre (i.e. a subgenre).
The primary genre might be something like Film (or Movie in the USA).

thank you Sir, issue is definitely resolved now, i uninstalled the problematic MSE altogether, plus i also now have optimized EPG grabbing configuration, thanks again for all the assistance, wow so much faster on everything now that MSE is out of the picture...MP WAF is now restored and FetchTV STB sits in the corner collecting dust :)

BDA compatibility mode is set to MediaPortal.
