Hello!

is it possible to have zero Signal level and about 30% of Signal quality at the same time during DVB-T manual control of one TV station in TV server configuration?

How the measurement works?

Signal level\quality is affected by the TVCard manufacturers driver, so by no means 100% accurate.

Take it you cannot view this channel, if the rest of your dvb channels show quality above 30% and they work, then it will be down to incoming signal too weak, this would not stop a settop box from being able to receive channels as they are better at handling weak signals anyway.

My TV card Club 3D Zap TV 2202 (hybrid) has BDA drivers. I can see TV programs on one multiplex (626 MHz) signal quality lightly above 30%, bud i cannot see the second multiplex (506MHz) in my region because the signal quality is under 30%. Somethimes i canot find this multiplex in autoscan. The signal level is zero in both multiplexes. Both are the same tramsmitter (same place, same power). Maybe the fault is in my antena wall plug, because the wall plugs was changed in my flat (because of digital receiving). So someway i have to measure the signal level.

The only way to find if there is a problem, check with neighbours firstly, can they receive signals fine with no weather breakup, ie hard rain\wind. if they have good signal, then its your incoming signal at fault, so check any aerial connections that your comfortable dealing with, if not get a aerial installer to check incoming signal quality and advise you on what to do to improve the signal strength.

Well, the log doesn't show any problems. I can see correctly tuned channels in the log. It seems to me that the tuner works fine. Can you copy the created ts file(located in your timeshift folder) somewhere else while in channel preview and try to play it in VLC or MPC-HC? PS: You can also try to make short record

Perhaps... Only way to confirm would be for me to invest in a different USB DVB-S2 tuner (like the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S2), which I might do if the issue persists.

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Hi, I didn't have SQL problems but just wanted to agree that on my Win7 system, a clean install of 1.36 TV server x86 does not work since it won't start the TV server configuration. Installing 1.33 first and upgrading to1.36 fixed the problem. Eggert
