Good to hear, that you are working on that skin Confusedpenguin!
I really can't wait to see those updates online. I'm using Razor as my default skin since its first release and find it's the best looking skin for MediaPortal.
Yeah, I noticed the mini EPG bug today - does it happen on any other skins or just Razor?
I'll try and upload the updated files later tonight - I'd rather have someone test them first before uploading anything to the repository. Also, I'm an SVN user so I'm not sure if they'll be compatible fully with a non-updated version, so some testing would be useful.
Right - I've attached a zip file which includes the updated XML files and some images.
In time I'll try and improve the layout and fix a few small things (the updates aren't perfect by any means but will do the job for now), plus try my hand at creating some new graphics to replace the current bluetwo substitutes, though I'm no artist.
If anyone wants to try and create some new graphics to replace the bluetwo ones, I'm happy to do the XML related to them.
Hi ConfusedPenguin, I am so glad you have taken over on updating Razor, it is my absolut favorit skin! Keep it up! Make sure these changes make it to 0.2.0.5 ... rtv is working on that
Hi ConfusedPenguin, wonderfull that you have made the updates. I like Razor a lot more than the rest out there, so you saved me some (a lot) of nagging from the gf
No problem, glad I could help. Once I've sorted a few more issues and completed the basic home screen I'll upload the whole skin to the repository as suggested.
I'm downsizing my big honkin' HTPC case to a mini PC, which means the tried and true Hauppauge Colossus card that bridges the set top box into Mediaportal needs replaced with a different solution.
I currently have HDMI from the STB to the colossus. Mediaportal is controlling the STB through a USBUIRT blaster and the blaster is...

Most (all?) small PC cases accept only ITX motherboards, which have only one PCI-E slot. So you could install only one PCI-E tuner card. A quad-tuner card would give you four tuners, but if you wanted more tuners you would need to use the TBS eight-tuner card, or use external tuners, either USB tuners (available with single or dual...

I really happy with the way it works, although I can think of many great features I'd...
Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

@Brownard, just a stupid question.
Yes it works now by manually entering the path. However when i try to edit the settings (like because i want to disable the share watch)
I can select my Media Source, however i seems to only briefly been shown and the goes back to the list. So i cannot actually edit it.
Can et bee due to the "long"...

I had to replace my NAS and after reinstalling a new one i thought.
Lets modify the Media Source.

Many thanks for the answer.
So far I've used Logitech's Harmony hub. This allows you to control all components (including the media portal). I have now contacted the Sofabaton hotline. It should also work here like with the Harmony. Unfortunately, not all of the IR codes are correct. You can also learn commands here. But that doesn't...

I don't have a complicated A/V system - a Sony A8H TV, Yamaha receiver, and a HTPC on which I run most media through MediaPortal. I...
