Gunnar, just checked your SMP xml.
You first display the avatar with #selectedtumb (ID 101 starting line 306) and then overwrite it with Skype4MP/SkypeAvatars/default_avatar.jpg (ID 10 starting in line 321) ;)
Put it vice versa, and you should see the real avatar image :D

Maybe better make special skin properties instead of your efforts to make selectedthumb works [emoji15]

Oh wait, it's image so maybe better use Image control for it and change image by handling OnItemSelected event of GUIListItem.

Hehehe, forgot to clear the skin cache and restart MP afterwards

    I tried that now.
    Exited MP.
    Deleted StreamedMP folder in cache.
    Deleted all pictures in SkypeAvatars.
    Restarted MP.
And the pictures are back in the folder, but not in the thumbslist.

And I checked, I have also the user thumbs in SkypeAvatars in DefaultWide. You're sure you don't have the user pics?

@catavolt This is not my problem. There I have an <visible>!Control.HasThumb(101)</visible> and it is working.

My problem are the thumbs in the list. I have added pictures.

I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC. TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.

Well, all that remains is to find someone who will add this render if it is a render.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

OK....perhaps impatient of me I know, but went for a full reinstall....and now up and running once more. Have no idea what was at the root of this problem....still wondering if it may've been due to a Win11 update earlier this week?
