SUGGESTION BOX: Additions for the Rename database system (1 Viewer)

Animatrix

There are no IMDb movie connections for 'The Animatrix', how exactly do you have the series that you wish to group it? If the concensus is high enough I got no problems adding it to the default rename database system, and of course you can always add it to your personal (Custom) one.

This is how I decided to set mine up in the custom file. Though it does occur to me that some might prefer that they go with the trilogy as they are canon and part of that story. In that case they would become matrix 4-12.

monty python series (2 and 3 are misspelled montHy python ii and iii and holy grail is not renamed to i)
wallace and grommit (4?)
true grit 1960 should have (Original) suffix?
tinker bell series (3)
sabrina 1954 should have (Original) suffix?
romeo and juliet 1954 should have (Original) suffix?
piranha 1978 should have (Original) suffix?

All added, in the case of Piranha, it actually came down to two film series as well.

Powaqqatsi -> Powwaqatsi: Life in Transformation?
New Police Story should be Police Story V? it's not renamed here
Naqoyqatsi -> Naqoyqatsi: Life As War? (poster title)

Did not add these, poster titles are a conflict throughout IMDb website, so if you prefer those, then please add them to your custom rename database.

New Police Story is not the 5th movie, this is explained at IMDb site on the trivia page:

-- Despite having "Police Story" in the title, this film has nothing to do with Chan's other Police Story films. --

This is also why the movieconnections page at imdb.com shows no reference.

samurai series (4) - actually 2-3 are but not 1,4

I could find no reference to 4th one. Am I missing something? The other three will be part of next rename database update, just wanted to make sure 4th one needed to be added or not.

Did not get to letter M+ yet, hopefully later this week.

Hi, been a while since I last scanned so maybe its no longer this way but I noticed the other night that Predators is being displayed as 'Predator III'. GOing by the naming convention that seems to be the standard should this not be 'Predator III: Predators'

Fixed.

I guess when I originally added it, I looked more at the working title of "Predator 3"

I'm not going to rush out v1.3.1 of rename database just for this fix though, but hopefully this weekend I get to a few more titles and this one will go along with it then

Actually, maybe its just the 1 from the first movie isn't being suffixed to the end of the title for me for some reason?

I also noticed Black Dawn 2005 wasn't pulling in a record from imdb+ and it seems thats because its another 2 part series

Nope, it didn't exist, I had it in my own custom one, so never noticed it.

Released v1.3.1 for that, so that also covers your Predators

Added, as well as 3 entries for [Rec] series.
