I believe trigger is to detect when a button is being repeated/held... It's something that was in the original source I based this on, but not in the second source code I found.
It would be really great if you could give me a list of the buttons on your remote and the codes that they generate, this will let me make a normal MediaPortal plugin as well as a virtual remote and an Abstract Remote Map (a new feature I'm working on ) for IR Server Suite.
I'll convert this program into a proper MediaPortal plugin and upload it later today or tomorrow and I'll make an IR Server Suite plugin and include it in the next release.
I wonder if you could test the attached version on a system with more than one Technotrend card and see what happens ...
With this copy I have tried to enumerate the cards and then access the devices one by one, I'm not sure my method is correct, but I think it probably is...
I would be very interested to see the output it generates.
It's work good on my system. One small addition.
I have litle different model of remote and there is no Play/Pause/Record/Stop/FF/Rev buttons.
But there is two not listed buttons: "Opt" with code 97 and "Setup" (actually there is spanner picure) with code 103
Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...

First thing to say is that I use MP1, whereas I believe that you use MP2. @ge2301 has just posted that MP2 has a "folder view" in addition to the "library view", so you should be able to set up your system as I describe below, but the details will differ.
In MP1, the folders that are to appear on the "Videos" panel are defined in "MP...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
