BTW: Could someone please clean up this thread a bit? There are at least three different version of 4.9.1 available for DL, not to mention the fixed dlls in zip/rar files. Difficult to find out what is actually needed.
The actual version could be posted in first post, as well as skinfiles

I have created a separate sticky for that a long time ago. The problem is that since I do not use it myself, I forget to closely follow this.

If anyone of the members that is actively involved in this want to handle it, sent me a message and we can decide which way to go.
Various options:

1. You can post the update in that thread and I can just maintain the first post with a link to your post
2. If you can edit my post (like official team members can), just go ahead and change it
3. If you cannot edit my post but would like maintain first post yourself, I can reposition one of your posts to be the 1st.

Guzzi: Regarding your last PM, please post the new dll you made up here. I tried the skins aMPed and Black Glass with the latest 4.9.1 dll from here (on MP 1.1.1), and both skins do not respond after invoking MyFilms (MP freezes). Don´t know what causes the freeze
After you post the latest dll here, we should consider to close this thread and continue with rekenaars thread mentioned above, so we have at least all the relevant dlls in one post.
BTW: 4.8.0c works fine here, but unfortunately no fanart with latest FanartHandler (2.2 Final).

Hi catavolt - thanks for watching out for this. MyFilms is working fine on aMPed 3,2 and Black Glass Nova (1.4) using MP 1.1.1. However, at this point I am not sure which mesfilms.dll I am using since no one ever updates the version numbers (it still says 4.8.0.0 ) but I think it is the one from Sep 17 Guzzi posted in post 206

ok, so I have recompiled the latest DLL that Dadeo mentioned (that contains the small fix I made) and also changed the version to 4.9.2.0 (as mentioned, all posted Versions had 4.8.0.0 since ages...).
All is compiled against latest official MePo V1.1.1.

I did some quick tests and can confirm it's working with following skins:

BlackGlass (V2.7 as provided by TGX)
BlackGlassNova (V1.4 as provided by TGX)
Blue3 (as provided by Zebons and attached)
Blue3Wide (as attached from this thread)
StreamedMP (as attached from this thread)

I also attached the latest languagefiles, as I had them (didn't check if they're all fully updated).

I had a look yesterday on the mpemaker - I might be able to create a package, although I unfortunately don't have the projectfile from Zebons, so I would have to do it from scratch.
Maybe we should first wait some feedback!?

Two more questions:
How can sourceforge be updated?
How can this version (if it should manifest) be "tagged" - because I personally use a MyFilms Version 5.1.0-alpha since a longer time, so if I would try to support the official 4.9.2, we would need this as a branch or something like that!? My trunk here is completely different to latest trunk at sourceforge ....

Done as requested, including language and skin files.
Regarding your freeze: I would assume it's a problem of the myfilms.xml or something similar - did you check mediaportal.log for hints?

Re fanarthandler: I did not yet test, if fanarthandler works - afaik it should use selecteditem, right?

There is one minor bug that has always driven me crazy. In Config, when you define a view and set a sort for it, the sort is not retained. You have to reset it every time you go into Config and save any change. A minor point I know

could you please explain more detailed? Are you talking about Supplementary View?

I am asking because I am trying to learn a bit about the configuration dialogs to incorporate the trailerconfig there. So meybe I could fix that mentioned problem also...

Yes I am talking about supplementary view on Optional 1 tab in MyFilms Config.

Once you create a supplementary view, you can define it as the default view and set the layout and sort order. Everything works great, except the field you select for sort order is not saved. Every time you do anything in Config you have to remember to reselect the sort field before you save.

sorry for mixing up the nickname ...

Ok, I checked the code and found, that it IS saved properly, but while loading the protectioncoding resets the field.
I tried fixing it without removing this protectioncode - find attached dll for testing.
There was also a problem with the layoutfield not behaving properly - hopefully also fixed...
And updated the Version inside the Configscreen to reflect the current version instead of 5.x beta

Pressing Esc or Back still goes to Home not Basic Home, but that is already a known issue. Seems to be working fine otherwise. Thanks!

Nice that it's working - I have seen that strange naming (dateadded instead Date, YEAR instead of Year, etc.), but I didn't want to change it, because those strings are used in the plugin for compare operations - so I wanted to avoid the risk to rename them and changing all related parts of the code and breaking something else ...

Re Esc/Back: I never experienced that, because I use standard homescreen - just configured basichome to include MyFIlms and can confirm that. However, because I never used it: Can you tell me, since when this behaviour changed? Would help me to find the related code. Not important for me, but I think for all Basichome users this would be an important fix ....
