Hi I've had MP running smoothly for quite a while now but suddenly when I try to watch TV (digital terestrial) I get an error message that says " No Free Card available " and will not allow me to watch anything! Anyone have any ideas?

Would need to see logs. Has TV worked before? Have you changed anything on your system? Does a reboot sort this out?
Is your hard drive full 
Are all your tuners in use recording something? Or can you manually access the tuners - to be sure they're all working? you could have a tuner that isn't reset and thus unavailable when MP needs to tune something.

Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.

Maybe the server is/was too busy when you tried to authenticate.
I occasionally run into that too, also with the opensubtitles api I regularly get 429's... there isn't much that can be done about it, except making sure the software isn't hammering the service and having patience...
