TV Guide / EPG for Taiwan (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know of a TV Guide/EPG program/site that works for Taipei, Taiwan?

Hi Dan,

What tv guide web sites do you have in Taiwan ?. Given that MP doesn't support the Taiwanese character set then info would need to be in a european text.

I have found this site:

Which has 1.5 days of guide for some satellite channels is that ok? I doesn't have much info only start time and title, but its a start and its in English

Let me know if its ok and I'll add it. Otherwise point me to another site.

Sorry for the late reply back.... got sucked into work black whole for a while :shock: . The web site you mentioned is the only one that I am aware of (in english anyway). I realize it doesn't give much info...but it at least gives schedule info which is a big help.
You mentioned adding it... That would be great !! One newbie question ...what would you be adding it into?

How do you pull in the EPG info for Taiwan? Is it in english or in Mandarin? Unfortunately I am in need of English.

I am using the DVB card. It can display Mandarin and English for EPG information. However, it required to modify skin, C# and C++ source code. Anyway, I have posted a message for how to contribute my source code to MP team? I hope they can integrate it into future version.

TW schedules = HK schedules?

Does the Taiwan satellite program lineup match that in Hong Kong? If so you could use the TVxb Hong Kong channel listings. (The NOW schedule should work.)
I doubt there will be any English language schedules available for the local Taiwanese channels however... If there are, they can probably be grabbed.

Can you share it to me? So far I am using another tool which can generate TVGuide.xml file. And then, import it into MP program. The tool is TVxB (http://www.tvxb.com/). The Tvxb-Taiwan.ini is writen by Alex Chuo.

By the way, it do have China and Hong Kong TV list in tvxb web site.

By thw way normally any site that TVxb supports can be easily supported by WebEPG.
