    Hello Neil

Were you running an older or custom version of TV Server with MP 1.3?
    2013-08-10 17:05:15.814257 [TVService(6)]: TVService v1.2.300.0 is starting up on Windows 7 ( Service Pack 1 ) [6.1.7601.65536]

For whatever reason the installer either didn't try or failed to update TV Server and the TV plugin.
Did you stop the TV service before attempting to update?
If I were you I'd try the install again... but you may have to do an unistall/reinstall.

found the fix in another post
Sorry to hear it didnt work out as you expected.

I suggested you do the following to install the TV Server part:
    1. Download and install 7zip
    2. Right mouse-click on the MediaPortal installer and select 'Open Archive'
    3. Double click the 'deploy' folder
    4. Select package-tvengine, press F5 and copy it to a folder
    5. Run package-tvengine and install

When I tested MP 2.5 some months ago using TVE3.5, I found that "scan for channels" failed to find any channels when I selected a DVB-T2 tuner (a TBS 6284) :(, but succeeded when I used a DVB-T tuner (a Pinnacle 2000i) :). Obviously the Pinnacle found only those channels broadcast in DVB-T MUXes (in the UK we have both DVB-T MUXes and...
