Hi, I been using my setup for about 5 months now, it comprises of a Hauppauge Nova T-500 (dual DVB-T) and a Technotrend S2-3200 (single DVB-S/S2). The DVB-T stuff is quite stable but the DVB-S can be a bit buggy but is still very usuable, has some problems recording sometimes but i think this is more a driver issue. BBC-HD is excellent, when my graphics card and codec want to work together. The hardest thing for me to do is to get a populated EPG, which has proved to be very flacky. Hopefully this will change soon with the launch of FreeSat, fingers crossed.

In the UK, the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T datastream allows each programme to have two genres -- a primary genre, and a secondary genre (i.e. a subgenre). The primary genre might be something like Film (or Movie in the USA). The secondary genre for Film might be something like: Action, Comedy, Crime, Fantasy, Romance, Science...
