I put together a tv server and am using the webepg plugin for the first time. The plugin dowload all the channel information but the TV guide is not right. None of the channels line up. Can someone tell me how to correct this?

Hi,
Please provide more information.
What do you mean that channels don't line up? Is there a time difference or programs are not belonging to this channel?
Provide one example with information when recording should be and what application shows you.

Sorry for the confusion. An example is that the food network is on channel 54 from my cable provider but when I download the lsiting with webepg it shows up in the guide being on channel 63. Channel 63 is a different channel. Basically the guide is completely out of sync with the actual channels. I haven't done anything with recording yet because I can't get the channels to line up with the guide.

Ok so now we know that downloaded channels are correct and only mapping is wrong.
I just read in MP manual that there is a tv server plugin called webepg but i used xmltv import on tv server and used webepg configuration utility in program files. Which one do you use, tv server configuration utility or from program files?
Below is url on how to use webepg in tv server
MediaPortalSetup_WebEPG - MediaPortal Manual Documentation
If you use tv server webepg than just correct mappings.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

Hey CyberSimian you nailed it! Looks like the secret is:- After EPG Collector has Run and provided the TVGuide.xml Open MediaPortal - TV Server Configuration "Force Import" on the Plugins/Xmltv/General dialogue, (ignore the status) Go to the Mappings dialogue and Load/Refresh and Save a Group - (It does not appear to matter which...

I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC. TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason. Consequently, even though the tvguide.xml file appeared to be updated, its content kept being an...
