hi,

I'm looking for a 4:3 skin that still gets maintained and updated.

Any tips?

Project Mayhem, PureVision to start... but there is always Blue Two.. There has been some occassional work on one or two more (?)

There was a recent (a month ago) submission of Monochrome and Indigo 4:3 (just waiting for him to get back to them ;) )

I'm thinking about doing a mod.... Project Pure Mayhem Indigo Blue Vision Two :D :D

The best way is to look at the 4:3 skins and sort them by date:
MEDIAPORTAL - free MediaCenter HTPC Software - 4:3

There is no really easy way to tell if skins will be updated in the future. You'll just have to go for one of the newest skins submitted, and see if like it. If you don't like any of the new ones: Come back to check for new skins every 3 months or so.

Submitters might suddenly stop updating their skins/plugins because they just don't feel like updating any more. However, you could send a message to the creater of your favourite skin, and ask him if he's going to update the skin any time soon. He'll notice his skin is still wanted if enough people contact him and it might encourage him to keep developing it. And another option: update the skin yourself if you have the knowledge.

There are 2 x files in the folder......one is x86, and other is x64 Wondering if I should be selecting the x64.....since I'm installing the 64bit version? UPDATE Transferred both files to the destination folder, and labelled appropriately. This way...

Hi This is a general question about OnX. I have been using the TvWishList plugin for a while and have recently updated (update install) from MP 1.36 x86 to 1.37 x86 and found there seemed to be no Onx menu in the TV guide. I then configured the onx.presets.xml file like I would normally do with updates or fresh installs, but still...

Greetings to all Denizens of the land of MediaPortal... It seems our Zap2XML/GraceNote access is broken again. I (as many others) have been using the latest NewZap2xml_6 and it has worked flawlessly. A few days ago it all died. I wonder if anyone is working a solution to save the masses. I am hoping the good citizen of past is...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...
