I see in the lastest StreamedMP there is an option to create sub menus on the basic home screen What/how are people using that in practice?

on movies my default is moving pics but the sub menu then has my videos, play dvd & play blu ray. Music default is standard music but sub menu then has itunes & spotify which are launched by multishortcut plugin. for me this frees up basic home alot and makes this much neater to navigate.

i love how subtitles are implemented in the MP2 videoplayer, this is just perfect. 1080p playback is also very good. But video playback in MP2 is buggy when playing 4k material. Therefore: PLEASE add an option for an external video player! I'd LOVE to have VLC back as videoplayer, like in MP1! This works perfectly. You will make a...

It is present, but not with that name. It is called Scheduler, viz: Interesting. I had never noticed that when the "command" is "ACTION", the "cmdproperty" is the actual window id, but it makes sense that it is. Try this for yourself. First backup your working profile for the remote, then in the "Mapping" panel make a change to...

Ok, thanks much. I will look into the instructions above. For the moment, I turned off the "Automatic channel logo update" in Settings (which somehow I had missed, I think because it wasn't an option previously), and the deleted everything in the Flat-default folder and populated it with my own logos. Works, so far.

When I am trying to get some hardware or software to work and I am experiencing problems, my usual procedure is: simplify, simplify, simplify. That means avoid making choices that may not work; instead make the "standard" choice, which is often simply accepting the default. A static IP address is known to work with MP1. An address...
