I suspect you can tell MediaPortal how much disk space it's ok to use for recorded tv. Let's say you have a 100 GB disk where you record your tv. If you set the limit to 70%, it will never use more than 70 GB for tv recordings. If you set it to 100%, it will use whatever space is left on the disk.
Reasons for limiting disk space could be to make sure you have enough space for the windows swap file, or to keep 15% free so you can defragment the drive. It might have other uses as well.

I switched back to MePo 1 some time ago, and havent really used it that much.
But i wanted to watch some old movies stored as ISO file.
Virtuel Clone drive is installed, and it can mount the ISO file.
However when i try to select it from MePo i only get an error that i cannot mount it.

Yes, I saw that. Was beyond my understanding, however. Didn't see how to set that up. I'm a relative neophyte, who's done hardly any command-line coding.
To be more specific: I don't see, under either "Grabbing Listings" or in the "First use example," where it is designated just where on one's C drive the tv.xml file is...
