    Hi guys,

I am currently writing a ClickMania plugin and now I need to create some graphics for the game.
Can you tell me which program should I use to setup the graphic files?

If you mean gfx for the "home" screen ?!

I have started to make same skin enhancement and I use : Adobe PhotoShop Elements 3.0

It's not expencive, but neither a freeware/shareware, I'm not sure
witch programs out there support .PNG with alfa chanel...

Anyway if you know any program for photo/pic-editing try with that first !

I would say, just take the program you are most comfortable with.

If you don't have anything yet, then Photoshop might be usefull. In CVS there are the PSD (photoshop) files for B2 so you could use those as a starting point for your own graphics. But to be honest I haven't used it myself, but I know lots of people that love it.

Personally I use PaintShopPro which suits my needs.

If you are not an artist you might want to ask someone to make the graphics for you.

If you are looking for freeware - look at gimp http://www.gimp.org/ it can handle .png graphics.

Another freeware program you can look at is Paint.NET (http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/) it looks like it is an up and coming program, it also supports .png (note this was written with C#) but it is a little younger than GIMP, so it may have more hiccups than GIMP.

    Have fun!

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason.
