Can you please give an example how to extract 3 providers and join them together.
I can't figure out your readme file.

In CONFIG1 you put a few different 'DOWNLOAD=' or 'LOCAL='
SAVETO=C:\tvguide.xml ->Where the files should be saved and the name
WRITECHANNELLIST=C:\channels.txt ->Writes a list with al the channels found in the provided xml files, useful for creating CHANNELKEEP1 and CHANNELREMOVE1.
IDCHECK=TRUE ->If you provide xml files that contain the same channels, this will prevent that duplicates will be added to the output file.

and in CHANNELKEEP1, you put the channels you would like to keep, all the others will be removed.

If you only need to remove a few channels, you can use CHANNELREMOVE1, choose whatever you like best.

CHANNELRENAME1, well rename the channelnames to a more cice looking name you like.

If you have advanced needs, you can create a CONFIG2 and so on... wich will be executed after CONFIG1, this is to produce seperate files eg: perhaps one for HTPC 1 and one for HTPC 2, if they need 2 different xmltv files you can create them with only running XMLTV reWriter once.

Hello, I'm sorry to be back ;-) It worked without a glitch for months and months but since 3 days i got an error and it is the same with all other EPG data files:

Yeah, I am experiencing this error as well. There is no log created, however, an xmltv.dtd is created in the XMLTV reWRiter program directory with these contents for example:

You are being redirected to <a href="/viewvc/xmltv/xmltv/xmltv.dtd">/viewvc/xmltv/xmltv/xmltv.dtd</a>

I was trying it out with http://tvprofil.net/xmltv/data/eurosport.de.sport/weekly_eurosport.de.sport_tvprofil.net.xml with just the default CONFIG1.txt changed to this xml file and all other config files empty.

Are there alternatives for using the EPGs from TvProfil XMLTV service etc. in MediaPortal?

there is another application that allow to change programm time in xmltv file: http://luinys.org/downloads/pc/multimedia/epg/timeChanger.exe

Aplication is able to run from command line. Example: timeChanger.exe tvguide.xml -1 -w or timechanger.exe tvguide.xml 2 -w
"-1" adds -1 hour, "2" adds +2 hours, "-w" exit application without promt.

I get epg from two sources via DVBGuide, Riks-TV and Canal Digital. A lot of the cahnnels are the same but they have different ID even the Display Name is the same, so when I merge them I end up with a final xmltv file with two NRK2's, two NRK1's etc. How can I use this app to merge channels that have the same displayname?
