I think I found a bug in reading from the video database.
Indeed the drive name of the director does not appear on the skin base (see photos). MediaPortal 1.1 installed with latest svn.

I replicate this with the same output in the logs. If I pause/unpause, the stream clears and all is well again. It sure lools like major DVB-T signal problems, except they are only visible watching in the MP client.

Update to this, TV Server seems to know that the recording has finished as it launches Comskip for me at the end of the recording correctly, it's just the Client that is getting confused.

Thanks very much for posting the solution to the truncated type of menus I noted. It works a treat for me, with the method noted below :)
I tried the option of disabling the scaling as noted but it did not work. I did however find success by reducing the DPi to 100%

I can confirm this bug. Not the biggest issue, since it only occurs when viewing a single channel and browsing down. Clicking next date works fine. Hardly worth fixing imo.

met problem with .mkv files in case of combination of XVID video codec and AC3 audio.
