Still thinks its a problem that should be classified as a bug. What if my TV-server is booting or i need to turn it off for some reason, then media portal shouldnt behave like this.

I decided to go to the alpha as this was unuseable anyway..

I've just noticed that neither clearing the whole channel list nor deletion of single entries works with 1.1.0alpha. The only thing I can see is a "please be patient" screen forever without any action done in the background.

Well it seems OK after rebooting. I checked MP was working then disabled the powerscheduler plugins and stopped and restarted the service from TV server config and then reloaded MP and it's still OK, so probably not worth worrying about.
