Thats fine if using analog but under digital you can change the channel numbers via MP
under mytheatre, showshifter, mce, gbpvr the channels numbers correspond to what they are via the digital signal.

I have one trouble with dvb-epg. I use mediaportal v0.2.3.0-RC2 with russian user interface. All looks great, but all channel names...
do not get that, check for latest sound card drivers and never change "default sound device" under audio renderer, maybe see if under general settings\enable GUI sound effects untick and see if any strange noise goes.
That can be down to how powerful CPU\Graphics are.

I cannot record anything with MediaPortal. I use the EPG Grabber - TVxb and it does its job at grabbing the correct schedules...
I still have the same problem.
It doesn't really bother me as I only watch the SD channels anyhow but I still get no EPG data in the grouped channels.
The logos are working though...
EDIT: nvrmind I found the newer exe a directory above "tvengine". It works like a charm. :)

I'm using the danish grabber TVGG which creates a tvguide.xml just as xmltv does. I have recently switched from old to the new tv engine. There wasn't these problems with the old one, so I gather it has to do with the new xmltv importer?
