Yes indeed... I also discoved that a few days ago, but forgot to post it here. It seems like Vista is saving al his program data in an other directory then where the program is installed (ProgramData/Program Files)

i fixed it now. it was discussed in an older thread before.
you need to set the offset to -2 in the configuration of
xmltv in tvserver config. the you press "refresh-epg" in
the manual view section of the tvserver config programm.

Until now I have manually grabbed EPG using XMLTV - with no problem, but shouldn't it be possible to use PowerScheduler to grab EPG data?

Well, I just moved to TVServer and this is how I have my system working...
In MP Config I make sure the WebEPBGrabber runs regularly, in the very same way as with the old TVengine. The result of the daily runs is an updated tvguide.xml file.
In the TVserver Config I point to this file, see PlugIns->XMLTV. Don't forget to enable it...

I believe at the moment the EPG on DVB-S Free To Air satellite in the UK is only broadcast on a now and next programme basis. The more comprehensive DVB-S EPG is broadcast in encrypted form by BSkyB.
This may change should the proposed Freesat eventually launch in spring 2008. This will be a Free To Air satellite...
