Think what tourettes\rtv mean is, if it does bugger it up don't come crying to them that it happened.
Views etc, i really would do those manually, as some things have changed, as i said for me with 200+ movies, rescanning and getting correct film and cover takes at least 4-5 hrs, so that info is important to be able to move over...

When I try to record from an analog-cable channel and press "record now", not only that it doesn't record, it crashes the card...
you need to specify frequency, modulation rate and symbol rate
you've not specified modulation rate, but i'd guess 64qam
to test, better to run manual scan in tv-server config - set the frequency to 770000, modulation rate to 64qam and the symbol rate to 6900
click manual scan (it should not take very long)

Under config\tv could you test with the autoturn TV on when entering TV option enabled, do a timed recording and post logs if successful after that.
