Hello, here is my problem. I recently installed a new video card. When I was installing it I had some issues with my pc booting up. One of the things I treied was removing my tuner card (Hauppage 1600) and booting my pc. It did boot, so I then replaced the card. Now though, media portal has no guide (which I configured and was working...

Not sure how much difference it makes but I was getting some noticable tearing without exclusive mode. I think I'll just have to live with it for the time being.

I moved some of my larger TS files to a seperate drive, temporarily, to aid with defragging my main video HDD, after moving them back, the files are all messed up. The audio seems fine, but the video is all jerky, and with that 'pixelation' effect every now and then (the kind you get when you lose signal on a live digital broadcast)...

It also makes it nice being able to browse internet radio stations, analog radio stations and mp3s without having to turn on the TV. I get a display of HDD space left/used thats...

If you're using IR server and you also have MCE Remote activated in configuration, they will both respond to commands and that could cause double clicks.
It took me a while to figure out why my volume would just shoot up and down.

Appearantly the problem has something to do with the tvguide.xml being stored on a network share. I created a script that copies the xml from the share, after the tvguide is updated, to the local drive and pointed the xmltv tv server plugin to that location and that fixed the problem.

In the media portal configuration the setting "direct showfilter control->video renderer settings ->VMR9->use exclusive mode" needs to be unchecked
With that the crashes in full screen mode were gone.
