Since MediaPortal switched to client/server almost a year ago I think it could benefit from a more service-oriented approach, keep the clients really separate from the server. So that's why I'm proposing this route for the scheduling sub-system, it's a very good candidate...

As I use the TV server and have 3 clients connecting to it, it can obviously become a tedious task to keep each of them up to date. Maybe 1 way round this would be to have a network install? I would love to see this feature in MP also. I use TheaterTek to play DVD with excellent quality, but when it comes to playing MKV files, I would like to use the WMP or the internal player.
Having this function is MP will allow us to "get by" until the internal player is refined to support everything under the sun.

I'm still missing H.264 HDTV Channel Support in MyTV I can watch recordings but it would be nice to watch H.264 live also.

I should have searched the forum. There is a way to get more control. Jus change the volume control to logarithmic version in the mdeiaportal setul / general / volume.
