I am not in front of my htpc now, so I can't verify. I know there is a .xml file with all the settings. Maybe that is still located in the Program Files\Team MediaPortal after the uninstall. Just check end delete that as well.

The Remote came along with my TV-Card, but I´m going to sell it along with the card and get a mce or x10 Remote which are supportet natively -> So no Resource hog like Girder or Autohotkey.

here is my problem i use MP to watch streaming TV over the internet and no matter what resolution I choose for my second TV/monitor the tv picture is always 4:3!!! Blue screen of MP is perfectly fine full screen (16:9)
TV, of course doesn't alow me to change aspect zoom in PC mode :(

I've been using the search function/Faq/Wiki first, in trying to find out what happened to the CD/DVD speed settings. No results. (btw: using a "/" or "\" in the search function results in a "page not found".

For what it's worth, I wasn't able to get MediaPortal to work, so I tried Easy HDTV and it works perfectly.
