Having trouble installing or configuring MediaPortal?
Is it possible to hit a key or a MP command to open various program points?
For example:
I want to open with one key stroke the records view.
And with another key it should open the "exit" menu (Standby, Hibernate, ....).

Anything that slows down the Graphics driver from loading, even antivirus\antispyware possibly can cause this.
Only way around it i know of, is to set a delayed start in MP config\general\delay, allowing the driver time to load correctly.

Thanks for the reply. Still using 0.2.3.0 for good reasons. Tested you suggestion but as I expected it's not completely compatible.
The WindowsPlugin is not working at all (can't see any thumbs or content in windows) and the core.dll won't let me download rss feeds.
I guess a fix for this version of MP is kinda out of the question...

Hi all I have just downloaded and installed the latest version of MP just great every thing works fine except the radio streaming. Sometimes small time delays in the streaming occurres and it is quit annoying :growl: in a middel of a god song ;)

this was also my first idea. So I searched the whole HD for MediaPortal.xml. It only found the new xml file and the renamed file. I renamed the file to MediaPortal_old.xml. Could this be the reason ?

As a bit of a last resort, you could try uninstalling the cards both software wise and physically and then reinstall just one and initially use the original driver rather than the BDA. Then use the manufacturers supplied software to check all is working. Repeat with the other card. If all good you then know the problem is with the PC...

I just received my Nova-S today and downloaded the latest drivers off the hauppauge uk site (Was not able to find anything useful on the US site) and it was recognized only after reinstalling the TV-Server. The driver version from Windows device manager is 2.122.26109.0. Hope this helps

When I go to MyTV I get a "Can't start timeshifting""No free card available" error. I have the tuner setup as a hybrid tuner & I can see the channels when I got to preview from TV Channels in the configuration. I have attached the logs.

Yeah, I had the same issue, and after like 3 hours I noticed the stupid thing. There is a button in the upper right hand corner of the Mediaportal Configuration window that says "Switch to Advanced Settings"
