DX9 capable graphics are usually the downfall of most laptops, and the chances of this being powerful enough are pretty remote due to being of a age where graphics where pretty low priority, even with ati mobile graphics.

Just deleting in the registry did not help. I ran Cleanup last and then it workt! Me and computers! ;-)
Two things does not seem to work in MP1 though. I'll check if it is already reported.

I think i had been doing too much at once.
I may have changed the computer name between installation and running the service
Using appwiz.cpl i uninstalled MP, then i uninstalled TV-server
i left sql and the other bits
then i installed it and this time when i ran the tv server config it gave me the psisdecd warning...

The zip file attached doesn't contain any log files, so try a scan with tv server & attach again.
Btw if you use RC1 without SVN there is a bug in log collection & log rotation so update to latest SVN would be best.

also, if you just want to change the options in the regular home screen, then you can go to configurations/plug ins and just disable any you don't want. You can also choose whether they appear in the home menu or the plugins menu and even change the order of the display (in the home plugin configuration).
