I had a similar problem under Win XP MCE 2005 RU2. Cleaning out temp directories and rebooting (twice), as you describe above didn't resolve my problem. That didn't do any thing to the Tv client it is still crashing MP then startet up ( I have another client that works fine so the TV server is not the problem)

i too have this card and have not so far had any success, main problem is that instructions to add card by using graphedit fall over as there is no "alias" listed where instructions say there should be??
as you said mce picks it up so does gbpvr?? why not media portal?
BTW was your mce very flaky with this card, mine kept resetting...

I think most of the settings are stored in MediaPortal.xml which is located in the root installation directory. I would suggest looking at all the other .xml files as well, and as always, back them up before replacing them......

I got my media portal setup running as I want it but I cant get the mce remote to work. I got it set up in the configuration and also under windows divices it says all the drivers are installed (now yellow signs). But it doesnt work in media portal, no matter which button I press nothing works.
