I found a VLC parameter which tells VLC to seek through an RTSP stream. But it is ignored. I dont know if the culprit is VLC or the TVServer. For example:

Does anyone know off-hand what the PowerDVD 9 codec will accelerate? I've been playing H.264 files with it, with DXVA supposedly turn on. No acceleration seen. This is using XP, EVR and a GeForce 8600 GT. MPC-HC does a great job with DXVA for me. So no reason to move, I suppose.
