I have talked to some friends during the weekend and it seems to be no good way out of this crap yet. The only channel I really want is ESPN America (formerly NASN) and I can’t get that one on Boxer, not yet anyway. So I’ll stick with ComHem for now, but it really suck : (

Playing back TV Recordings still crashes mediaportal ,

I have updated to the latest build (weekly updates) and I can no longer playback recorded tv episodes all i get is a black screen...
yeah i know, its such a shame because other than the initialising issue its a great card. ill wait until Freesat is a bit more mainstream before upgrading i think.

Since installing MP1 a few weeks ago ive noticed an issue where the TV server seems to lose its stored channels after approx 1...

Oh man... you saved my night... I found that folder, i delete it.... and when i reinstalled MP, the version appeared normally in the boot screen: MP 1.0.0

Using the old internal TV engine provided with Mediaportal, yes you can, but you use at your own risk as to whether it supports your TV card.
TVServer currently does not allow this :(
