I'm just wondering if it is possible to either:
1) Save/record the tv that is in the buffer at the moment.
2) Record the current program, including what is in the buffer, when watching live tv?

Running a tv-server and then client on my desktop vista.
Connection to tv-server and bringing up EPG
The resolution is showing 21:00 -> 00:00 if i now zoom down it´s showing 21:00 - 21:45
If i now press right (top menu >>) it shows 00:00-00:45 .

My guess is that you have "upped" your DPI (font and icon size).
If so: revert to normal.
PS: You should always include logfiles - then we don't have to guess :)

When trying to view movies in fullscreen I just get a black screen with audio. It works in windowed mode and other software works...
Also you need to consider the bandwidth of the firewire bus (Especially if you plan to distribute HDTV).
This is also true for the NIC/ethernet of course.

That's indeed what I was trying to get a general feel about. So hence the poll :)
In essence it's indeed no surprise TVE3 will win this poll (especially here on the MediaPortal forum ;)), and that's of course great, but it would still be interesting to see if people would value other support as well.

Nevermind, I found EventGhost to work out rather nicely once I got it figured out. The only questions I have about that now are about the "OemGate" and "Oem8" commands... what are they?

Good to know that we Norwegian are not alone on this one :) There are several threads about this - with suggestions to codecs to use. I know that TerraTec has included a DS filter for this w/their SW (you can get it buy buying their Piranha (<- spell check) DVB-T card.
