Well, it turned out to be the Hardware Decoder option in the LAV video settings.
When it's set to "Intel QuickSync" video is played too fast, while at DXVA2 (native) videos play correctly.

Depends on the type of stream, if there's a directshow filter that can play them, and how protected they are.
