Got a problem with MediaPortals TV-Engine 0.2? Post it here!
most of the time this is the first tune of a scrambled channel which takes long because the card has to initialize the CI.
afaik this is known for Twinhan and Technotrend cards that this takes looooong.
nothing we can do about that since its caused by their hard-/ software (driver)

Under General Settings I changed Time Out to 2mins and Refrsh to 3mins, now it seems to work fine.

The drivers I have are only 2.3.30.19 so it looks like you found newer ones. I'll give them a shot. I'm pretty sure that the ones that are 1.3 k are corrupt or not complete. But the other one might work. I'll let you know. Thanks again.

Do you mean Channel\Program button, because that works fine here + and - change channels correctly.
By the sound of it you have changed your mapping, try resetting under MCE remote.
Check in the folder "inputdevicemapping" there is a "Custom" folder, try deleting any settings inside there.

Read here that DScaler was a workaround for those who had similar trouble, so reinstalled MP allowing it to install DScaler, selected it for audio, and now things work (actually, since by using DScaler I also got video in TVServer 0.3, I've moved to that:-)

Ich have a Problem with the MediaPortal.
I Searched for TV Channels in the MediaPortal Config and i found all Channels...
Sounds like you are using the older TV engine and not TV engine 3. It might be put under plug-ins. In the MP configuration, go down to plugins and see where the tv icon is. right click on it and see if it is displayed in plug-ins or the main window. This should fix your problem.
