For DVB-s and analogue i personally would go for 2 seperate cards, the hauppauge hardware encoded seems to be the choice of many for analogue.

Now I use Diseqc also. But only a diseqc 1.0 switcher (costed 8€) for 2 LNBs. MP 1.0.2 works flawlessly with my Technisat Skystar 2HD with this setup. Setup in MP TVServer was very easy. Switch between the 2 dishes is fast, nearly as fast as zapping o one dish. Another gratulation goes to MP Team!

You cannot upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.1.0RC4. Instead you must do a complete uninstall and then reinstall from scratch. I appreciate that this will lose some of your settings, but at least your TV card should work :-)

Well, you can definitely use the Skystar as a tuner. I'm not sure about the Nexus though - it really depends on whether it only shows what it is tuned to on the video...

A duo LNB = monoblock LNB, quad stand for the number of outputs (4 outputs, 4 tuners).
