Just reporting back to say that I have updated all clients, and the 4OD update works a treat. There were a number of previous shows that always threw up an error - this has now gone on all machine.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Trust the GF to try and watch something that doesn't seem to work. Getting the "No URL error" with a few titles on 4OD>Drama>Falling Apart (there are others shows which throw up the error in this Drama category)

Many thanks it's mostly working fine for me again.
However has anyone else noticed that it seems to stop playing say maybe 5 or 6 mins from the end of the show? Even when I tried to download a show it also just stopped downloading at 93%.
If i restart watching the same show and skip forward to where I was up to it continues to play until the end.

here is a small update:
it is probably not due to the Windows update. I ran a new transmitter scan and got the same result. MP no longer starts. Then I got the fuse back and everything works again. A simple reinstall of MP does not bring a solution. Maybe I should reinstall MP from scratch. However, I need a lot of time for this...

To other people reading about this 'issue', Doskabouter provided me with a fix/patch. It is a modified version of tswriter.ax which solved the problem with dolby digital plus audio.
