I'd like to try to add Allocine (French movie website), to see trailers in French. There are rss feeds, but I'm not really sure how to configure Online Videos to use it. Is there a tutorial about that somewhere ?

If it is a regular rss-feed, then you should be able to do it through the configuration here is a very short explanation, but i think there isn't much more to say about it.

If not then I do have a basic tool with which you can create more complex configurations, but it's a) somewhat technical, b) as for now undocumented and c) not yet released, so that's not really going to help.
But perhaps in the near future...

I also have never used a set-top box with MP, but I think that you need to use an IR emitter (aka "IR blaster"). The IRSS software controls the emitter, and transmits IR signals under the direction of MP. The IR signal is received by the IR receiver within the set-top box, and so can be used to change channel and so on. The set-top...

I've done a few MP1 installs in the past and haven't had a problem, so I didn't expect one today. I just purchased a mini PC with Win11 installed. I downloaded and tried installing Mediaportal 1. I chose single click standard installation with no TV. It started working on things and I wasn't paying terribly close attention, but...

I'm downsizing my big honkin' HTPC case to a mini PC, which means the tried and true Hauppauge Colossus card that bridges the set top box into Mediaportal needs replaced with a different solution. I currently have HDMI from the STB to the colossus. Mediaportal is controlling the STB through a USBUIRT blaster and the blaster is...
